Stepping into Spring at the Apple Blossom Festival

Winchester, VA (Massanutten Military Academy) - Parades are a long-honored military tradition, with the intent staying the same across centuries: a method to inspect troops, present awards and issue information. Massanutten Military Academy is proud to uphold that legacy, marching in several parades around the Shenandoah Valley and beyond in the 2024-25 school year.

Cadets joined dozens of marching bands, floats and organizations to march through the streets of Winchester in the 98th Annual Apple Blossom Parade. Massanutten cadets have proudly marched in each of those parades over the years, uniting the community as they welcome in spring.

Throughout the school year, cadets keep their skills sharp both through our LET (Leadership, Education and Training) courses and drill. These practices are conducted by MMA's Army Instructor SSG Edward Santos, and help reinforce the structure that helps your teen on the path to success.
