Two Rifles Purchased for State-Champion Team with MMAAO Match Campaign
Support cadets at Massanutten Military Academy, a top military high school in Virginia. Help fund the rifle team today!
UPDATE (June 6, 2025): Double the donations - double the rifles. Thanks to the amazing Massanutten Military Academy Alumni community, we are purchasing two ambidextrous rifles for our team. Our hope is they will arrive on campus in time for our Skilled Rifle Camp in August.

Massanutten Military Academy (Woodstock, VA) - Massanutten Military Academy needs your help expanding opportunities for cadets. Our rifle team has won back-to-back state championships under the coaching of Ms. Bridget Burner and Mr. Aaron Vallejo. To try and make it a three-peat, we need your support. Many of our cadets are left-eye dominant, but currently the Academy only has one left-handed rifle. That limits the amount of time our cadets have for practice and who can compete in each meet.
That's why the Massanutten Military Academy Alumni Organization is helping coordinate a match campaign to buy a new ambidextrous rifle for our team. Our coaches have highlighted this rifle for our team, which all together is expected to cost approximately $3,000. The MMAAO graciously agreed to set up a match campaign to help with our goal. That means if we raise $1,500 through donations, they will meet that fundraising total so we can purchase the rifle before next competition season. Here is how members of the team explain that impact in their own words:

You know your child can do more but is not getting the attention needed in their current environment to reach their full potential. We know that choosing the right school for your child can be difficult because each child is so unique. We believe students should experience school as it should be, a place where children are educated in an environment that leads them to thrive and encourages their maximum potential.
Massanutten Military Academy is a co-educational, non-profit military boarding and day school in Virginia for students in 8th-12th grades with postgraduate studies. We welcome all faiths and live by our motto: Non Nobis Solum (Not For Ourselves Alone).
