Woodstock, VA (Massanutten Military Academy) - Our structured daily schedule at Massanutten Military Academy ensures cadets develop discipline, responsibility and leadership. Each day is carefully designed to promote focus, teamwork and perseverance. We also operate on a block schedule, giving our cadets more face-to-face time with their teachers, time to remain more focused on subjects and opportunities for more creativity within those lessons. 

Here are the opportunities MMA gives our cadets to grow each day:

• Academics: Each cadet schedule is created with input from their families and teachers. We establish a roadmap that is updated each academic year with a variety of advanced, STEM and cadet-interest courses. This variety sets teens up for success by allowing them to explore their talents and abilities. Our block schedules also give each student more time to focus on their classes, providing opportunities for high-level learning.
• Athletics: Cadets choose a sport for each competition season. Daily practices bring them together as a team to build bonds and overcome challenges. Regular matches, meets and games teach teens how to perform under pressure and keep their composure as a competitor. Building in daily time for physical activity also helps your teen balance their physical, mental and social health.
• Cadet Life: Outside of classes, sports and meals, MMA also builds in time for teenagers to spend time with their friends while also have enriching experiences. We plan field trips up and down the East Coast. Cadets volunteer in the community and beyond to help make the world a better place than they found it. Our students also use this time to grow as leaders within their Companies and the Corps, mentor other cadets and spend time with our faculty and staff who mentor them as well.
