Mini Golf and "Spiderman: Homecoming" was on the Agenda for Colonel's Camp
This week the Colonel’s Camp cadets went easy on the history and loaded up on some fun.
On Tuesday, the cadets traveled out to Appleland Sports Center to spend the day playing some miniature golf. The weather was beautiful and the cadets had a ton of fun engaging in some friendly competition.
On Thursday, the cadets went up to Winchester to the Alamo Cinema. For those of you who don’t know, the Alamo is a movie theatre that serves you food, much like a restaurant, while you are enjoying your film. No more running out to the concession stand or trying to balance popcorn and soda on your knee. The cadets saw “Spiderman: Homecoming,” and really enjoyed the experience.
Here at Massanutten Military Academy, we strive to instill a sense of structure and discipline in our cadets, but we also understand that they are still kids and sometimes kids just need to have a little fun.
