Track Takes Home Some Awards from States!

The State Track Meet took place this past Saturday in Richmond Virginia. Our small team placed 14th amongst the 21 competing schools which in itself is a victory, but our boys didn't stop there.
Our 4x100 Meter Relay Team consisted of Keaton Dishman, Nathan David, David Okoronkwo, and Samuel Holmes. These four gentlemen placed 5th overall with a time of 47.75 seconds. They received a ribbon in recognition of their accomplishment.

Keaton Dishman also competed in the High Jump Competition. He took home 2nd place in the state, a silver medal, and the new MMA JV School Record with a jump of 6 feet. He barely missed the first place height of 6 feet 2 inches, but as a sophomore, he has plenty of time to get those extra two inches.

We are very proud of our boys and can't wait to see what they'll do in the years to come.

You know your child can do more but is not getting the attention needed in their current environment to reach their full potential. We know that choosing the right school for your child can be difficult because each child is so unique. We believe students should experience school as it should be, a place where children are educated in an environment that leads them to thrive and encourages their maximum potential.
