Faculty/Staff Show Cadets How to Play Basketball

Every year after sports is finished, the cadets take on the faculty and staff in a series of intramural games. This year, we kicked off this tradition with a game of basketball which resulted in an 89-61 victory for the Faculty/Staff Team.
The star players on the Faculty/Staff team were by far Coach Chad Myers and Coach Hayden Sowers. However, they were not alone under the coaching prowess of SFC Richard Kurtz. Coach Jacob Kaiser put up 15 points throughout the game while Mrs. Sarah Treese assisted with 4 points and Ms. Bria Bryant, Mr. Charles Plauger, and Coach David Strong all contributed 2 points each!
On the Cadet Team, Nate David took over as the head coach and had a dozen assists while still scoring 12 points himself. Keaton Dishman put up 24 points while Liam Wall assisted with 6 and Jessica Hirsch put up 8.
Both sides went hard on defense, the highlight of which was Cadet Samuel Holmes blocking LTC Lester Layman. In the end it was a fun game for all and we look forward to Volleyball, Flag Football, Softball, and Ultimate Frisbee in the days to come.

You know your child can do more but is not getting the attention needed in their current environment to reach their full potential. We know that choosing the right school for your child can be difficult because each child is so unique. We believe students should experience school as it should be, a place where children are educated in an environment that leads them to thrive and encourages their maximum potential.
