Labs are Underway
Yesterday in Chemistry, Ms. Bria Bryant’s students were introduced to the lab.
The students learned basic lab safety techniques and techniques for using the equipment. To test out their newfound skills, they tested the effects of mass on filtration. To do this students added sand and salt to water and then attempted to strain the two solids using the lab equipment. It was a wonderful intro lab to get the student’s feet wet in the lab setting and familiarize them with the equipment they will be using throughout the school year.
