What does the Battalion Staff do?

The members of the cadre are an elite group of students that are responsible for helping the operations of the corps run smoothly. In an earlier post, we discussed the responsibilities of the top three positions. Below you will find some the others.
  • Company Commanders
These cadets are responsible for the daily operations of their respective companies.
  • S1 – Battalion Administrative Officer
This cadet prepares the reports and plans for the corps and handles all of the administrative paperwork as well as operational duties as assigned by the Battalion Commander.
  • S2 – Battalion Intelligence and Security Officer
This cadet prepares weather and terrain reports to help with event planning and works closely with the Recruiting Operations Officer to organize recruiting events.
  • S3 – Battalion Training Officer
This cadet is in charge of all the battalion training including planning and staffing to make sure that the corps is prepared for every event.
  • S4 – Battalion Supply Officer
This cadet works closely with the quartermaster to ensure that the cadets receive the appropriate equipment and assists in creating inventories to make sure the appropriate supplies are on hand when needed.
  • S5 – Battalion Public Affairs Officer
This cadet is responsible for helping to foster a relationship between the Academy and the Town of Woodstock. They will help arrange any events that are outside of the realm of training (ie. Military Ball, blood drives, community service, etc.).
  • S6 – Battalion Signal Officer
This cadet is responsible for promoting the Battalion events through video and photography.
  • S7 – Battalion Academics Officer

We know that choosing the right school for your child can be difficult because each child is so unique. We believe students should experience school as it should be, a place where children are educated in an environment that leads them to thrive and encourages their maximum potential.
