Congratulations to Massanutten Military Academy's JLAB Team!
A huge congratulations goes out to Massanutten Military Academy’s JROTC Leadership Academic Bowl (JLAB) Team!
This past weekend, the JLAB team traveled to Washington DC to compete in Level III of the JLAB Competition. The Colonels fought hard and came from behind to earn a spot in the playoffs, but unfortunately they lost a very close match in the quarterfinals.
However, the team is officially recognized as one of the top eight academic teams in JROTC! To put this in perspective, 1,794 Army JROTC programs begin the JLAB process each year and there are 2,011 programs from all four services that do not even qualify to compete in Washington DC. This is an amazing accomplishment for our cadets!
