The Color Guard and Band Celebrate Armed Forces Day
On Sunday May 21st, the Color Guard and Band traveled to Edinburg to celebrate Armed Forces Day (May 20th) at the home of LTC John Riffee.
It was a beautiful event where the band played a few selections and the Color Guard posted and retired the colors in honor of the many veterans and their families. After the ceremony, the cadets were welcomed to a wonderful meal that they shared with the veterans before returning to MMA. The Color Guard and Pipes and Drums Band has performed together several times this year and this was their last event for the community. They will participate in the Senior Parade during Graduation Weekend and finish the year with thirty-one events overall.
