Yearbook Production is a practical study of the publishing process. Cadets have the unique opportunity to run, design, and publish the yearbook for Massanutten Military School. Using computer technology, digital camera equipment, and real business techniques, cadets will create a book that will serve as a time capsule for the school year. Cadets will experience real life business structure and processes, including meeting deadlines. Cadets will be involved in public relations, planning, designing, and delivery of the school’s yearbook. It is the job of the yearbook staff to cover historical moments and report these moments through copy, captions, headlines, photographs, artwork, and design. Staff will create a publication that is unique to MMA’s culture.
