  • Band Director for the 2017-2018 SY

    Individual must be charismatic, energetic, believe in hands on/ experiential learning for students, learner centered, use technology, think globally, innovative, and willing to work collaboratively. Experience teaching band is preferred. A minimum bachelor’s degree in band or related field required.
    Responsibilities will include providing instruction in pipe and drum, pep, marching, and other types of ensembles.  Must be able to organize and direct band camps, field day and parade activities, community cadet performances, concerts, etc. in addition to providing classroom instruction.

  • Female TAC Officer

    Do you have what it takes to make a difference in a young person’s life? Then Massanutten Military Academy is the place for you. Massanutten is looking for a responsible adult to supervise and mentor female cadets within the dormitories.
    • This position is hands-on and requires you to move through the building monitoring cadet behavior throughout the shift.
    • You must be able to mentor cadets while ensuring their adherence to Academy rules.
    • You must be able to complete a small amount of required paperwork and submit it in a timely manner.
    • This position has alternating schedules and includes weekend/evening shifts.
    • You must be a team player and undertake other duties as assigned.
    • A valid background check is required for this position.
    • Prior military service is not required, but is preferred. 
  • Head Boys Basketball Coach

    This individual must have the ability to lead, monitor, and coach a diverse group of male students during basketball practices and games. Travel for away games is required. Some experience is preferred.

  • Housekeeper

    Massanutten Military Academy is looking for a Housekeeper. This individual must be capable of cleaning and maintaining assigned facilities and interacting with the cadets and staff in a professional manner.   • Registrar for the 2017-2018 SY

    Individual must be charismatic, energetic, believe in hands on/ experiential learning for students, learner centered, use technology, think globally, innovative, and willing to work collaboratively.
     
    Responsibilities will include ( but are not limited to) creating and updating transcripts and roadmaps, developing schedules and maintaining rosters, monitoring and updating teacher grade books, meeting with current and prospective cadets and parents, and working with juniors and seniors on college applications and registering for ACT and SAT exams.
     
    A bachelor’s degree is required for this position. Experience working with students in an academic setting is preferred.

  • School Nurse

    Are you a medical professional that enjoys working with kids? Then Massanutten Military Academy may be the place for you. Massanutten is looking for a professional and caring RN or LPN to assist students weekdays from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. We will also consider those with a Med Tech License.   • Bus Driver

    This position requires a CDL and duties will include driving middle and high school students to sporting and other off-campus events. Experience with students is preferred. Please send your resume to llayman@militaryschool.com.
  • Substitute Teachers

    Substitute teachers are need here at MMA. You must hold a degree and teaching experience would be preferred. As a substitute teacher you will report directly to the Dean of Academics, Ms. Elshafie. For more information, contact Kim Elshafie at kelshafie@militaryschool.com.
  • Assistant Tennis Coach for the 16-17 School Year

    This individual must have the ability to lead, monitor, and coach a diverse group of male and female students during tennis practices and games. Travel for away games is required. Some experience is preferred.
