Open to students in grades 9-12, this four-week program is an amazing opportunity that introduces students to the principles of JROTC through Leadership, Education, & Training (LET) courses along with excursions to the river as well as the Massanutten Military Academy Raider’s Course. The curriculum includes leadership theory and application, citizenship and government, health, wellness, fitness, first aid and so much more. Our JROTC summer program also offers a chance for students already enrolled in another school’s JROTC program during the school year to get ahead in a structured and safe environment.
This program provide a unique experience for students while focusing on refining leadership skills and developing self-confidence and discipline, necessary qualities to have in any career, military or otherwise. Not only is this an experience that will prepare cadets for their future responsibilities as American citizens and leaders, but the completion of this program will also count as a one high school course credit.
