Cadets in U.S. Government, U.S. History and ESL classes went to the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia. The students viewed the exhibits, learned about the history and traditions of the U.S. Marines and participated in a written scavenger hunt for extra credit in their classes. The scavenger hunt is available to teachers on the museum website education link. Some students fired the M-16 Rifle Range laser simulation. The range simulates firing the service rifle from 300 yards.
