Each year, the Shenandoah County Fair rolls into Woodstock as a fun Virginia tradition. Part of that tradition is having a specific day set aside to honor the veterans of this historic area. Massanutten Military Academy is proud to be a part of this tribute by providing our cadets to present the colors and help lead the veterans to their place of honor in front of all the county fair visitors.
This day has become a tradition for MMA cadets to honor local veterans. The veterans enjoy seeing our young people in proper uniform giving respect to our country and our flag, while our cadets enjoy experiencing time with such honorable men and women who have sacrificed for our great country.
Our postgraduate players also play an important role in the events by helping transport the seniors from their van to the stage. This interaction always instills a sense of pride in our PG cadets.
