As a JROTC Honor Unit with Distinction, Massanutten Military Academy is eligible to nominate qualified candidates to various United States Service Academies. Each year, MMA, Army JROTC, and other JROTC programs give awards to its cadets who are outstanding in each battalions. The awards are offered on behalf of various prestigious and reputable organizations that exhibit the seven Army values in all of their proceedings. These awards serve as recognition for the cadets’ efforts in their dedication to exhibiting leadership values, bettering the community, and transforming into better citizens as a whole. These awards vary in meaning from recognizing various disciplines, leadership styles, and other achievements.
