Congratulations to Cadet Lillian Herring as she signed her national letter of intent to attend Georgia Southern University as part of the women’s rifle team. Lilly led the Colonel’s to a state championship in 2017-2018 in the 
Virginia Military School’s Rifle League. With a season average of 273 out of a possible 300, Lilly was the top shooter in the VMSRL. Cadet Herring is the daughter of Frank and Robin Herring and is in her second year at MMA. Lilly started shooting in the 7th grade and will be leading the MMA rifle team as a senior under coach Colonel Layman.
