Announcing New Private High School Scholarship for Virginia Students

Private High School Scholarships

At Massanutten, we strive to be inclusive and give the opportunity to attend MMA to as many cadets as possible. Through private scholarships, financial aid, and other programs, we are able to reach more families and offer students the chance to be a part of MMA. Recently, a new option for financial aid has been released for students living in Virginia.

The Grasp Grant is available to students living in Virginia who are transferring from a public school to a private school. GRASP is a non-profit, charitable, college-access organization. Their mission is to assist students and families in securing funding for education. Regardless of financial resources and at no charge to families or students, GRASP helps develop a successful educational plan.

The goal of this organization is to “ensure that every student has an equal opportunity for continuing education after high school, regardless of financial or social circumstances.” GRASP assists students and families navigating the financial aid process and helps with the awarding and administering scholarships process. Additionally, GRASP inspires students and their families to prioritize and believe in secondary and post-secondary education. Finally, GRASP is a resource for support throughout the duration of their academic goals and journeys.

Massanutten offers a very different experience than that of a traditional school. From our STEM curriculum, sports and arts electives, outstanding staff and teachers, and dual enrollment and advance placement classes, MMA cadets are exposed to a superior educational experience. Unlike traditional high schools, Massanutten also has smaller class sizes allowing cadets to learn on a more personalized level. Additionally, MMA has a 100% college acceptance rate, as compared to 69.2% college acceptance rates at traditional high schools.

We feel that no one should have to miss out on this opportunity, which is why we offer various Financial Aid programs as well as encourage Virginia residents to look into GRASP. Learn more about MMA’s admission process and find more information on your financial options here.
