MMA Designs New Arts Program

In 2009-2010, MMA's fine arts program will include the following updates:

• Added sections of Band Class

• Choral Class & After-School Vocal Opportunities

• Drama & Theatre

• Added sections of Fine Arts courses (Ceramics, Watercolor, etc.)

• Added Field Trips to Museums, Musical Theatre, and other Performances

MMA's unique placement in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley provides our students with several outreach opportunities, as well. Both Shenandoah University and James Madison University are only a half hour away. Like the nearby Shenandoah Shakespeare Express (in Staunton, Va.), they provide world-fine arts experiences.

Seventh through twelfth-grade students who demonstrate skill in one or more of the following areas may apply for special scholarships and discounts:

• Painting

• Instrumental Performance

• Acting

• Vocal Performance
