Cadet Life
In addition to an excellent Academic Program, our cadets continue to learn, grow, and develop outside of the classroom as members of the corps of cadets and athletic teams. Cadets develop close lifelong friendships while working and living together. They learn to appreciate, support and motivate each other to do their best. Cadets develop self-confidence, self-discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills within a clearly defined military structure.
Dorm Life
Dorm life provides a special lesson in cooperative living whether it's sharing space with a roommate or remembering the importance of keeping the building's common areas prepared for inspection. It builds close relationships that last long after graduation.
Male cadets are housed in three dormitories: Benchoff, Harrison, and Lantz Halls. All are newly renovated. Female cadets live in Warehime Hall. MMA's dorm rooms are the best that you will find.
Most cadets are housed in double rooms with a cadet of the same grade. The middle school males live on the fourth floor of Benchoff Hall and are led by specially selected high school males. Once the new cadets have gotten to know their classmates, they are encouraged to room with their good friends.
Activities
The Director of Activities and Community Service coordinates plans for on-campus and off-campus activities. Cadets in good standing may take the 5-minute walk into downtown Woodstock where they can enjoy eating at one of the restaurants, shopping in one of the department stores, watching a movie at the local theater, skating at the skating rink, or visiting the video games center, etc.
