Athletics: Directions to Away Games

The following directions are provided for your convenience to attend away sporting events. The directions are written from Massanutten Military Academy's campus. Please use them with caution and obey all rules of the road. If you find any incorrect directions, please e-mail Director of Communications with a correction. Thank you for your support. (Tennis at Jefferson Memorial Park in Charlestown) At first light exchange in Charlestown turn right. Continue 6 blocks. Turn right onto Mildred Street. Continue 6 blocks into park and courts.

Lynchburg Christian Academy games are played at Liberty University Stadium. Take 29 South to Lynchburg. Take second Candler Mountain exit (Rt. 128 West). Follow signs to Liberty University. Once on Liberty campus, the football stadium is on the right.

MANASSAS PARK HIGH SCHOOL
Take I-81 North to I-66 East to Manassas exit (Rt. 234). Turn right onto Rt. 234 South (Sudley Rd.) Continue through Manassas. Turn left onto Rt. 28 North. Continue approximately 1 mile. Turn right at light exchange (Hess Station) onto Manassas Park Drive. Go 2 blocks turn left onto Euclid Ave. School in on the left.

MARTINSBURG CHRISTIAN
Take I-81 North. Take Martinsburg Exit 16. Turn right on Rt. 9 to light. Take a left at the light on Rt. 11 North. Stay on the road past 7-11. School in on the left.

Model is on the campus of Gallaudet University. Go east on I-66 toward WASHINGTON. Merge onto I-495 S / CAPITAL BELTWAY via EXIT 64A toward RICHMOND. 1.0 miles Merge onto US-50 E / ARLINGTON BLVD via EXIT 50A-B toward ARLINGTON. 8.2 miles Merge onto WASHINGTON BLVD / VA-27 S toward I-395 / PENTAGON. 1.1 miles Take the I-395 N ramp toward US-1 S / WASHINGTON. 0.2 miles Merge onto I-395 N toward 244 WEST / COLUMBIA PIKE (Crossing into DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA). 4.9 miles Turn RIGHT onto NEW YORK AVE NW / US-50. 0.6 miles Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto FLORIDA AVE NE. 0.5 miles End at 800 Florida Ave NE.

Softball Field. Take I-81 North to the Stephens City Exit. Turn left at end of the ramp. Go through two lights in Stephen City (this will be Marlboro Rd). Pass a cemetery and go over railroad tracks, Route 648 will be the next road to your right. The fields are approximately 1/2 mile on Route 648 on the right.

2000 E. Belvedere Ave., Baltimore, Md. Take I-81 north to Va. 7, exit 315. Turn east toward Berryville. Take US 340 ramp toward Charles Town. Turn left onto US340 N Buckmarsh St. Continue to follow US 340 N. toward Harpers Ferry. Merge onto I-70 E via exit 10 toward Baltimore/I-270 S/Washington. Take exit 91A-B exit I -695A-B toward I-95. Merge onto I-695 N/ Baltimore Beltway inner loop via exit 91B on the left toward I-95 N/Towson. Merge onto Perring Pkwy/MD-41 S. via exit 30A. End at 2000 E Belvedere Ave.

Take I-81 South to Roanoke. Take Roanoke exit off to the left Rt. 581. Go to Rt. 419, exit about 8 miles. Go right off exit through 4 lights. School is on the left.

Take I-81 North to Stephens City exit. Take a right onto 277 turns into 340 North. Turn right onto 50 East. Go past Upperville. Turn left onto Rt. 611. After Purceville sign, go about 1.5 miles. School sign is on the right. Take the right after the bridge.

QUANTICO HIGH SCHOOL
Exit off I-95 at Quantico, Triangle. Rt. 619 East (coming from the north it will be exit 150B coming from the South it will be exit 150). Go through the light on Rt. 1 to entrance of Marine Corps Base. Stop at sentry gate to inform them of your destination. Go to Purvis Road (third road from the gate). Make a right. High school is approximately .5 mile on your right. Admission $3 Adults/$1 Students.

RANDOLPH-MACON ACADEMY (R-MA) (540) 636-5200
Take I-81 to I-66 East to the Front Royal exit (exit 6) and take a right onto 522. Go over the North and South Forks of the Shenandoah River, including one light between the two bridges. After the second bridge, go through another light. Pass Warren County Hospital and go to a stop sign at Kendrick Lane (you will see R-MA in front of you). Turn right and take the next left going through the Academy north gate. Pass the Middle School and you will see the athletic fields on your right. For indoor sports, turn left in back of Sonner-Payne Hall (Administration) and go around the building passing in front to reach the gymnasium.

ROANOKE CATHOLIC (Vinyard Park)
FROM THE NORTH/SOUTH VIA  INTERSTATE  81:

• Take I-81 South/North depending on the direction you are coming from. 
• Stay on I-81 South/North until you near Roanoke.  Watch for I-581 signs.

• Exit onto I-581 South/Roanoke. 
• Stay on this a few miles. 
• Next, take exit 4E.  You'll now be on Rt. 460 E also known as Orange Ave.  Stay on this until you see Dairy Queen on the left and Hardee's on the right.
• At this light, take a right on Gus Nicks Blvd. 
• Go to the first stop light and make a left onto King Street.
• Go approximately ¾ of a mile and take a right on Berkley Rd. 
• The park is ¼ mile down on the right. 
• Use the parking lot closest to the playground equipment. 
• Ball field is next to the playground.  

FROM THE EAST VIA 460 West

• Take 460W towards downtown Roanoke.  This road may also be known as Orange Ave.
• Turn left at King St. (Route 653) There is a Kentucky Fried Chicken on the left and a McDonald’s on the right.
• Turn left on Berkley Rd.
• The park is ¼ mile down on the right.
• Use the parking lot closest to the playground equipment.
• Ball field is next to the playground.

• Take 220 North
• 220 North becomes I 581 North
• Exit I 581 at exit # 4 E.  You'll now be on Rt. 460 E also known as Orange Ave.  Stay on this until you see Dairy Queen on the left and Hardee's on the right.

• At this light, take a right on Gus Nicks Blvd. 
• Go to the first stop light and make a left onto King Street.
• Go approximately ¾ of a mile and take a right on Berkley Rd.

(Tennis) 234 South. Left onto Wellington past Dean Middle. Take the right into J. Dean Park.
