Graduation Requirements

Massanutten Military Academy offers two diploma options to meet the varying needs of our students. The diplomas are the Advanced College Preparatory Program and the College Preparatory Program.
Advanced College Preparatory Program
The Advanced College Preparatory (ACP) Program leads to the Advanced College Preparatory Diploma from MMA. To receive this diploma, cadets must complete the ACP curriculum successfully. Requirements for the ACP diploma are:
 
Courses Credits
English 4
Reading 1 (½ credit in each of 9th and 10th grades)
Math 4 (to include Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus)
Science 4 (to include three lab sciences)
Social Studies 4 (to include U.S. History and U.S. Government)
Foreign Language 3 (or 2 units in each of two foreign languages)
Health 1 (½ credit in each of 9th and 10th grades)
Physical Education 1 (earned through participation in afternoon athletics)
Computers ½
Fine Arts ½ (art, drama, or music)
SAT Prep ½
Study Skills/Life ½
  24 total credits
Plus 1 credit for JROTC for each year at MMA

 

College Preparatory Program
The College Preparatory (CP) Program prepares the cadet for the standard Massanutten Military Academy College Preparatory diploma and requires the completion of the following courses:

MMA also offers several college courses through a dual enrollment agreement with Shenandoah University.
